Canada is in the midst of a major housing supply shortage. With rising immigration and the lack of new housing coming to market this supply shortage will significantly increase in the years to come. It is estimated that Ontario will face an additional shortage of 200,000 residential rental units in the coming decade. This makes it more important than ever to upkeep the existing rental supply and to bring more rental stock to the market.
